(Left to right) MSgt Kenny Everett 127 CACS, Lt Dave Olds 161 IS and Capt John Lane 161 IS procured the 1st place slot at the 2010 Kansas National Guard Bass Fishing Tournament held at Coffey County Lake on April 17, 2010. The tournament is held in honor of multiple KS National Guardsmen who have paid the ultimate price. Their love of the sport was the initial inspiration for the tournament 6 years ago. Plaques were presented by Maj Gen Tod Bunting, The Adjutant General of Kansas, who also competed in the tournament. By an act of god Capt Lane won the "biggest bass" of the tournament. And no we did not buy the fish off of other anglers. The tournament is held every year at about this time. It's a good time and I highly encourage more AF participation next year.
