Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, --
Members of the 184th Logistics Readiness Squadron traveled to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, in July and August 2024, to gain experience in job proficiency and improve combat readiness. During their trips, the Airmen built upon their job-specific skills and mission essential taskings. Both bases offered aircraft, heavy equipment, munitions, and flightline training that cannot be accomplished at their home station, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, since their home unit doesn’t have a flying mission. The training prepared the Airmen to work in flightline environments that they’d likely experience during combat deployments.
